Grand Circuit Tour

This tour is essentially a larger version of the small circuit tour. You won’t stop at the same temples, instead, you’ll see temples that are a little further out and then we’ll come back towards Angkor Wat to see the sunset.

You’ll see Preah Khan, Neak Pean, East Mebon, Ta Som, Sras Srong and then we’ll stop to see the sunset at Pre Rup. Whilst this tour is still quite popular, most people prefer the small circuit. Therefore, you can enjoy some stunning temples away from the large numbers at Angkor Wat and surrounding temples.

Beng Mealea Temple Tour

Beng Mealea temple is a stunning place to visit and it’s located around 40km outside of Siem Reap. Due to the distance, many tourists don’t visit the temple and you’ll find it a lot less crowded compared to the Angkor Wat complex.

It is one of the largest temples ever built during the Khmer Empire and it was built before Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat follows nearly the exact same architecture and art as Beng Mealea, so it’s often thought that Beng Mealea was a blueprint for the design of Angkor Wat.

The forest and villages flood for around 6 months, but it’s a great place to visit any time of the year. Some of the houses can be 10m tall on in some places.
